That smile that she betrayed :)

And there she sat,

For 15 hours straight,

In her spectacles and that lovely braid.

Her ever-delightful face, now looked grave,

‘Another bug!’: she exclaimed.

And there she sat,

For many hours straight,

Studying a 100 Chrome tabs that she had opened, all in haste.

And there she sat and stared at that black screen,

She seemed absorbed, as though in a day-dream.

And then sometimes, a slight smile would emerge,

Which at other times, would just purge,

Giving way to narrow brows and passion fierce!

And there she sat,

For many-many hours straight,

She seemed to repeat, like the recursion she studied:

To open a 100 new Chrome tabs with so much greed.

And there she sat, figuring Kadane’s and Kruskal’s and Dijkstra’s and the algorithm by Prim,

She hardly knew,

She had fallen in love with her code, to the brim!

Those strings had her oh so attached,

This was a love, so well matched!

And there she sat,

For uncounted hours straight,

Hooked to those subsequence and dice-throw questions.

Really, their dynamic solutions changed her expressions.

That smile that she betrayed,

That glow on her face,

None really knew,

The code scribbler had found: what she really wanted to pursue!
